Lahore's educational institutes under strict watch

  After uncovering the militant outfit Ansar-ul-Shariah in Karachi, intelligence agencies have tightened the monitoring of educational institutions in Lahore, reported Dunya News.

According to sources, institution from which students and teachers were arrested for their connections with militant outfits in the past, are also being monitored.
The three biggest institutions of Lahore are specially monitored and intelligence officials are also placed at these institutions. They are going to report their findings on daily basis.
Moreover, linkages with fugitives of other militant outfits have also been uncovered. According to sources, these reports were submitted at the Punjab home department. According to reports, these groups of fugitive also provide shelter to facilitators of terrorists.
Punjab home department has ordered the intelligence agencies to compile a report about the details of actions taken against these fugitives in the past one year. It has also ordered police to arrest these fugitives at the earliest.
